Physical Description

Pair of leg masks each depicting a salmon with the scales and the head of the fish. There are bird talons around the salmon. The leggings themselves are both made of curved wood pieces, carved in intaglio in a chocolate bar-like pattern. Their surface is painted green, the interstitial spaces are red. They hold together by means of threads that can be tightened to adjust to the wearer’s legs. Near the bottom of these leggings are bird talons carved and painted green, white and red. They are hinged with leather pieces, with four claws on the left leg, three on the right one. They seem to grasp a jutting animal head. These salmon heads are painted green, red and black on a white background.
